Originally from Denmark, she works in theater, television and film. Resides in New York.

A series regular on season 3 of the NETFLIX Original Series, THE RAIN in the role of “Trine”.

Other recent work on Danish major network includes: NORSKOV, produced by Danish network TV2, international distribution and avail on Amazon Prime and Channel4 UK, and Walter Presents Streaming. Directed by Louise Friedberg. Annemette plays the pivotal role of “Diana Bondesen”. The show received six Robert Prisen Award nominations from the Danish Film Academy in 2016.

Annemette came directly from Denmark to Washington DC, where she was invited to study at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts. After graduating she took up residence at the oldest repertory theatre in the United States, The Hedgerow Theatre, where she worked under the guidance of artistic director, Penelope Reed. Annemette headed to New York City where she studied with acclaimed Broadway and Tony Award winning director Vivian Matalon in his theatre master class. 

She is proud to haven been a long time member of Tim Robbins’ acclaimed theatre company “The Actors’ Gang” in Los Angeles. Work at The Actors’ Gang includes productions of BREAK THE WHIP (written and directed by Tim Robbins), RED NOSES, OUR TOWN, DRUMS IN THE NIGHT, LOVE’S LABOR’S LOST, and BURY THE DEAD (Received Garland Critics List Award – Actress in a straight play).
